The Randle Highlands Citizens Civic Association will occasionally submit resolutions, letters, or written testimonies to relevant agencies on issues impacting our neighborhood. Below are copies of the resolutions and testimonies our organization has submitted as well as information of how they came to pass the membership of our association. All resolutions and written testimonies are voted on at regular meetings of the association and require a simple majority of those present for passage.
2018
- September 27, 2018
- Resolution sent to the Council of the District of Columbia urging them to uphold the will of the voters by abandoning efforts to pass the Tipped Workers Fairness Amendment Act of 2018 (B22-0913)
- Membership of the Randle Highlands Citizens Civic Association who were present at our 9/27/18 meeting voted unanimously in support of submitting this resolution to the D.C. Council.

- July 16, 2018
- Letter sent to the District of Columbia Office of Zoning in support of the Penn Hill Shopping Center, later renamed the Penn Branch Shopping Center. (Case No. 17-11)
- Membership of the Randle Highlands Citizens Civic Association who were present at our 7/16/18 meeting voted unanimously in support of submitting this written testimony to the D.C. Office of Zoning.
- Letter sent to the District of Columbia Office of Zoning in support of the Penn Hill Shopping Center, later renamed the Penn Branch Shopping Center. (Case No. 17-11)
- May 24, 2018
- Resolution sent to the Council of the District of Columbia asking them to accelerate the timeline of the proposed hospital to be located at the Saint Elizabeth's Campus in Congress Heights (Ward 8) so construction will be completed no later than December 31, 2021
- Membership of the Randle Highlands Citizens Civic Association who were present at our 5/24/18 meeting voted unanimously in support of submitting this resolution to the D.C. Council.
- Resolution sent to the Council of the District of Columbia asking them to accelerate the timeline of the proposed hospital to be located at the Saint Elizabeth's Campus in Congress Heights (Ward 8) so construction will be completed no later than December 31, 2021
